- Opening Preparation: Allow an extra 10 mm internally from upstand to upstand for a proper fit. For example, a 600 x 900 mm unit should have a 610 x 910 mm internal opening.
- Upstand Construction: Build the upstand using 2×1 or 2×2 inch timbers to ensure a strong and even base.
- Foam Rope & Sealant: Install foam rope on the internal supporting baton to distribute glass weight evenly. Use Dowsil 791 black silicone sealant for a watertight seal. Avoid acrylic sealants, which are incompatible with this product.
