• Dimensions: The top glass pane includes a black border, extending the external size by 200 mm in each direction.
• Opening Preparation: Allow an extra 10 mm internally from upstand to upstand for accurate fitting. For example, a 600 x 900 mm unit requires an opening of 610 x 910 mm.
• Upstand Construction: Build the upstand using 2×1 or 2×2 inch timbers for stability and ease of installation.
• Foam Rope & Sealant: Place foam rope on the internal support baton to distribute the glass weight evenly. Use Dowsil 791 black silicone sealant for a secure, watertight perimeter. Avoid acrylic sealants, as they are not compatible with this unit.
