Installation Recommendations

• Dimensions: The top pane includes a black border, extending the external size by 200 mm in each direction.
• Opening Preparation: Allow an additional 10 mm internally from upstand to upstand for proper fitting. For example, a 600 x 900 mm skylight requires a 610 x 910 mm internal opening.
• Upstand Construction: Construct the upstand (timber frame) using 2×1 or 2×2 inch timbers for a secure, precise fit.
• Foam Rope and Sealant: Place foam rope on top of the supporting baton to evenly distribute weight. Use Dowsil 791 black silicone sealant to ensure a watertight seal. Avoid acrylic sealants, which are incompatible with the unit.
