Installation Recommendations

- Dimensions: The top glass pane features a black border, increasing the external size by 200 mm in each direction.
- Opening Preparation: Allow an additional 10 mm internally from upstand to upstand for correct fitting. For example, a 600 x 900 mm skylight requires a 610 x 910 mm internal opening.
- Upstand Construction: Use 2×1 or 2×2 inch timbers to construct the upstand for strength and precision alignment.
- Foam Rope & Sealant: Apply foam rope on the internal support baton to balance weight and minimise pressure. Use Dowsil 791 black silicone sealant to achieve a secure, watertight seal. Avoid acrylic sealants, as they are incompatible with this product.
